If you can imagine a child removed from his home in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes on his back . . .

If you can imagine the loneliness of a senior citizen, who has no one to visit her at the nursing home . . .

If you can imagine a family who has lost a teenager to suicide and doesn’t know why . . .

If you can imagine a child with low self-esteem who has the undivided attention of a mentor who will read to her and with her . . .

Then you can imagine the community projects of the Junior League of Waco.

The Junior League of Waco is committed to improving the physical, intellectual, and emotional development of children and adolescents in McLennan County.  The Junior League’s Research and Development committee is solely devoted to researching the needs of our community and developing projects that will address those needs.  They are also responsible for facilitating  critical needs funding and awarding community grants.

The Junior League of Waco is proud of our current and past projects that have given our membership, as well as our collaborators, the opportunity to improve the quality of life in the Waco community.  Through financial resources and the manpower of our volunteers, we continue to make a difference—just imagine the lives we touch!
