Benefits of Donating: · Tax Deduction – Donations are tax deductible. Be sure to check with your accountant for specific details. A tax statement will be mailed to donors at the end of each calendar year. · Celebration, Acknowledgment, and Memorials – The fund enables you to recognize the special times in your life. Recognition of donations and honorees are published in our community publication, The Bridge. Donations of $1,000 or more are recognized on a plaque in the Clifton House. · Ease of Participation – Donations may be made by completing the donation card or by making a secure, online donation. After clicking the "Donate" box on the right side of the screen, please fill out all the information. Please be sure to designate your donation to the "Clifton House Endowment Fund" or to the "Community Projects Endowment Fund" under the "Special Notes and Instructions" near the bottom of the form. You can also designate a person "to honor" or "in memory of" in the "On behalf of" section. You should also include their address so that notification can be sent to them informing them of your donation in their name. · Estate Planning – Designate the JLW Endowment Fund in your will or estate plan to ensure that the organization that is important to you will retain appropriate funding for the future women and children of Central Texas. The Junior League of Waco’s (JLW) Endowment Funds were established in 2000 to sustain, expand and initiate League created programs. The Community Projects and Clifton House funds are designed to be self-sustaining. The Endowment fund enables us to turn each dollar into many dollars to fund our projects.
